What AskAna is

AskAna has three connected layers: the free Ask Your Circle social decision network, AskAna styling and AskAna for retailers. Ana can suggest two outfits, and you can also upload two options or compare products before asking people you trust to choose. Suggestions are exactly that - suggestions. Ana has taste, not liability: what you buy and wear is your call, and purchases happen on the retailers' sites under their terms, not ours.

Your account and content

Keep your login to yourself and tell us if something looks wrong. Photos you upload stay yours. A private source photo is used only to style you; photos deliberately uploaded as option A and B are shown to the audience you choose for that decision. The details live in our privacy policy. Photo features require you to be 18 or older. Decisions start private. Public Community publication always requires a separate choice and can be reversed.

Payments

AskAna is free to use. Asking Ana, her verdict, comparing two outfits and your Circle's votes cost nothing, and there is no limit on how many times you ask. We are paid by retailers, as commission when somebody buys through a link we showed them - which is why Ana is never paid to prefer one shop over another, and why what she recommends is chosen for you and not for us.

We do not sell styling credits any more. If you bought credits before we stopped, they remain on your account and nothing you paid for has been taken away. If something goes wrong with anything you paid us for, email us and we'll sort it out like humans.

Retailer product comparisons

A participating retailer may place the Ask Your Circle widget on a product page. The private voting link carries signed attribution so the shopper can return to the exact product and the retailer can measure an attributed purchase or return. Product prices and availability remain the retailer's responsibility, and checkout always takes place under the retailer's terms.

Fair use

Don't abuse the service: no scraping, no reselling access, no attempting to extract other people's data, no uploading images of people without their consent. We can suspend accounts that do.

The unavoidable part

AskAna is provided as-is; we work hard to keep it accurate and available, but we can't guarantee either at all times. To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to what you paid us in the past 12 months. We may update these terms; material changes will be visible here. Questions: hello@askana.style.
